Conclusion
The Cancer that we studied deals with the largest organ that encompasses our body. Radiation from the sun is one of the leading factors that contributes to the development of skin cancer. The Regions of our body that sun radiation affects most are the head including , face, and neck. In rare cases people have also developed skin cancer on the back of their hands, there are 4 stages of skin cancer the fourth being the most fatal, but do not worry skin cancer has been scientifically proven to be curable. Before starting this research project, I had an idea of what skin cancer was, but never looked at the details. I discovered that there are different types of skin cancer: basal cell cancer, melanoma, and squamous cell skin cacinoma. Skin cancer deals with the abnormal growth of cells in the skin. With the making of this website and researching this disease, I have learned how this specific cancer (and cancer in general) develops, what triggers its development, how to treat it, and how to prevent it. There is a total of four (4) stages of this cancer, stage 4 being the most dangerous and fatal. Although there is no way to officially and permantly prevent getting any form of cancer, there are still ways to decrease the possibility of developing it. A healthy diet and constant exercise is a good way to help fight cancer. Wearing sunscreen before being exposed to the sun is also an excellent technique of fighting the UV rays of the sun, which cause skin cancer. (Genesis Maldonado)
When i started this project i didn't really know much about skin cancer. Skin cancer is basically abnormal growth of skin cells. Skin cancer develops when cells in the body divide and grow that causes it to damage healthy cells and body tissue. I also learned that there are 4 stages of skin cancer and the 4th one is the most fatal. We can prevent skin cancer by protecting your skin from the effects of the suns rays. (Miriam Hernandez)
